STRIPES AND EDGING

We will add a stripes and a neat border in just two steps. Start by turning the bonnet inside out (WS) for the first step, and then flip it back for the second (RS).
First, make a chain with 65 loops. If you want longer or shorter stripes, you can add or remove a few loops. After making chain, attach the stripes at the bottom of the bonnet while keeping the wrong side facing you by doing single crochet and continue working single crochet until you reach a place for another stripe.Make another chain of 65 for the next stripe.
Turn back and do slip stitches along the whole chain. Make a slip stitch on right side (RS) of the bonnet continuing slip stitch until end of the another stripe. This careful process gives your bonnet a polished look, showing off your awesome crochet skills!
